Activism is: accountability, education, action, being direct, being brave — @katieboue ⠀⠀・・・ I did a thing, and I wrote a letter. An open letter that I encourage you to read and share (link in bio). Companies make choices everyday that affect the lives of millions, including millions that can’t speak for themselves. Wildlife being among them. Single-use plastics is a top-down issue in consumerism. It’s not a glamorous topic, but it is so incredibly necessary. We have to hold companies accountable for their contribution to our global #plasticpollution epidemic, because if we don’t who will? I plan on writing these letters in the coming days, months and years and being more more vocal about issues dear to my heart. This first letter is to the CEO of @heb, a beloved company in the great state of Texas. If you’re gonna start somewhere start local, right? Please read, reshare, and get the word out into the world. What’s really great about adventuring in the outdoors, is we always walk away with a win. Because we did something. A little better than before.
